NIZUC Resort & Spa Review
Nizuc resort and Spa: A STUNNING ARCHITECTURAL GEM IN THE RIVIERA MAYA
Date of Visit: November 2019
After two nights at Rosewood Mayakoba we hopped over to Nizuc for a quick one night stay. Spread among 28.5 private beachfront acres, NIZUC faces the second largest Mesoamerican Grand Reef Barrier.
ACCOMODATIONS: 5/5
The spacious and elegantly designed rooms offer a perfect balance between comfort and sophistication. Our one room suite featured a private terrace with breathtaking ocean views, a plush king-sized bed, and a luxurious bathroom with all the traditional amenities.
SERVICE: 4/5
Unfortunately, we arrived during a busy time and the beach side service wasn’t available in a timely manner. Overall, we were well taken care of during our stay.
DINING: 5/5
The resort boasts a variety of restaurants, each offering a unique dining experience. We enjoyed dinner at the elegant Indochine, with an Asian fusion menu, in a truly stunning dining room open to the water gardens.
SPA AND WELLNESS: 5/5
The spa was a true haven of tranquility, with its serene ambiance and extensive menu of treatments and therapies. I appreciated the unique private exterior treatment cabanas. The spa facilities included a guided steam room, hydrotherapy circuit, and heated stone relaxation recliners with a personalized scalp treatment.
ACTIVITES AND AMENITIES: 5/5
For the adventure enthusiasts, the resort offers a wide array of activities, including snorkeling, paddleboarding, and kayaking. There is also a well-appointed fitness center we didn’t have the chance to use on our short stay. The private strip of white sand beach was refreshingly secluded and free of seaweed.
OVERALL EXPERIENCE: 4.5/5
We truly enjoyed our quick stay at NIZUC and would absolutely recommend it for a couples retreat, girls trip or group reunion.
