Our Own Magnificence.

Parenting this one has been incredibly difficult lately. I've been grasping for patience and coming up short. Her capacity for epic tantrums is wearing on my sanity. Holding a calm supportive space as she works through her intense emotions (and loud outbursts) with grace and love, day after day, is super challenging.

I believe that you’re great, that there’s something magnificent about you. Regardless of what has happened to you in your life. Regardless of how young or old you think you might be. The moment you begin to ‘think properly,’ this something that’s within you, this power within you that’s greater than the world, it will begin to emerge. It will take over your life. It will feed you. It will clothe you. It will guide you, protect you, direct you, sustain your very existence. If you let it. Now that is what I know, for sure.

I'm setting aside all of the inspiring plans I had for blogging this week and instead cracking open my own emergency tool kit for wellbeing. Lots of yoga, prayer and meditation, journaling, time at the pool and sauna and inspirational books and podcasts to strengthen my faith in my own magnificence and help remind me that 'this too shall pass'.
