ON FEAR and PUSHING PAST IT.
I have written this post several times, and deleted it just as many. But, the funny thing about fear is it continually resurfaces until I find the courage to push past it.
After hearing Sue Bryce's talk on fear for the first time last year, I was able to work up the courage to start a photography business. And I spent last fall taking portraits for other families, but would always crumble inside at the thought trying to capture 'professional' family portraits of our own children. For over two years now, I didn't think I was capable of creating an image of my babies all together and worthy of framing. I would usually end up 'cheating' with the iPhone. But hearing Sue's speech again inspired me to grab the camera before heading to the pool for the last day of the season.
Two simple portraits that I will soon frame for the office as a reminder that there is no room for fear, only LOVE.
So how about you? Where do you find the courage and inspiration to push past your fears? I'd love to hear, please share!
