I had decided this morning to set up a little shoot later in the day and finish up the roll with the kids on the bed. Seriously, I'm over a week into this and I haven't finished a roll yet. I'm feeling a little pathetic. Perhaps a change of location and lighting conditions will make for a fresh start.
But then, among chores and laundry piled high on the couch, I caught a glance of Adeline playing in the covers of my bed. I stop everything and run for the camera. I only manage to grab one frame - I hope she was still enough for the settings. I've decided it's time to start journaling my progress for reference when the scans come in. (f/2, 1/60).
UPDATED WITH FILM IMAGE:
As it turns out, the kids aren't in the mood later that day and I decide not to push it. I do, however, manage to finish up two amazing books by Austin Kleon and decide I'm ready to begin sharing my learning process and my journey into film. Thus, this little series is born.
